Magical Entertainment for All Occasions!
Bruce has performed both close-up and stage magic for adults, children and combined groups...
and has entertained at hundreds, possibly thousands of events, including many schools, libraries,
festivals, private and corporate functions.
He attended George Washington High School in Charleston and then Miami-Dade Community College in FL,
He then moved to Chicago in the 70's and was a manager for Walgreens.
Moving back to Charleston, he and his best friend, Marvin Vigadi (currently a singer/songwriter in Chicago),
opened a restaurant on Capitol St. in the 70's. It was called Sorgy's and was the first
restaurant in Charleston to offer all the peanuts you could eat (throw the shells on the floor),
foot-long hot-dogs, deep-fried breaded mushrooms, and a unique beverage called "Green River"
(a dark green lime soda)
Bruce still has a deep love for the "Windy City" and visits frequently.
Bruce was also a popular radio personality back in the 80's, but for the past 20-something years has
been the office manager at the South Charleston Adjustment Bureau (a financial collections agency).
Bruce currently resides in Charleston. He is happily married, has two daughters & one grandson.
His wife Judy is a legal assistant for Shaffer and Shaffer, a law firm with offices throughout WV.
If you live in the Charleston area and are not familiar with Bruce, that's most likely
because most of his shows are outside of Charleston. He frequently is called upon to
perform in Ohio, Kentucky & throughout West Virginia. Appx. 90% of his performances are
private affairs (banquets, conventions, award ceremonies, school shows,
birthday & anniversary parties, etc).
He has different shows available, and depending on whether the show is for adults or children,
each performance is customized for that specific group.
Due to a busy schedule and family commitments he limits his performances to only several a month.
Over the years, Bruce has written several books about magic and has even taught
magic classes. Several of his students went on to become very competent magicians.
His magic, psychological deceptions, and sleight-of-hand seem to be irresistibly fascinating,
and his humorous one-liners give the program a special touch that always delights his audience!
You won't find a performer who loves his craft any more than Bruce.
He spends hours every week working on his magical skills.
